Marissa.

A true friend is not something you find every day. You won't notice it how true that friend might be. But with time and patience and a lot of personal/mutual setbacks you become close.

When I met Marissa we weren't the best friends in the world. She had her standards and I had mine. We had a mutual friend that made us ''acquaintances'' but close, nah.

The unfortuned twist of life made us ''friends''. Our mutual friend moved away and our sorrow was big. We cried together in silence. Both of us never spoke really out loud about it but both of us knew. Our friendship was hectic and didn't go smooth, like you would expect. No, both of us had a common characteristic quality. We were both stubborn.

We did not fight openly. We just didn't talk.

A year later I found myself in a broken life. Missing what she and I were. I was ashamed of my past behaviour. A bit too proud to make a step but I did. She had forgiven me and I would forgive hers (always).

Sometimes in life you will meet some one that doesn't seem to be the person you can always count on but you will never know untill you give them a chance.

I love Marissa. In our own parallel world. Our common weirdness and our need to grow and to explore.

we are strange. I like us.
